ECAA is pleased to announce Un/Common Objects, a survey exhibition of Lynn Aldrich’s sculpture at Art Center College of Design’s Alyce De Roulet Williamson Gallery. The exhibition, which is co-curated by James Daichendt and Christina Valentine, opens Friday, October 11th; it runs through January 19th. An opening reception will take place Thursday, October 17th, from 7 to 9PM.

Lynn Aldrich

“Lynn Aldrich’s creative practice draws on multiple disciplines, multiple methodologies and multiple desires for knowledge. She weaves them into a coherent and allusive body of work that attests to the power of the human imagination in its inborn quest for truth.” – from an essay by Howard N. Fox in Lynn Aldrich: Un/Common Objects, published in conjunction with the exhibition

Lynn Aldrich

Lynn Aldrich earned her MFA degree in Art at Art Center College of Design in 1986; she was a part-time instructor for the Graduate Art program starting in Fall 1986 and ending mid-Spring 1999.
