
Blu Homes kicks off Modernism Week on February 16, at 2:30pm with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at the stunning Joshua Tree home of Tim Disney, which was recently featured in the Los Angeles Times. All proceeds from this reception will support A+D Architecture and Design Museum>Los Angeles and its upcoming exhibition Never Built: Los Angeles, a rare compendium of visionary works by legends such as Frank Lloyd Wright and Frank Gehry that only saw the drawing board.
As the sun sets behind Tim Disney’s Blu Origin home and the stunning desert landscape, the afternoon of the 16thwill conclude with a discussion featuring Never Built curators Sam Lubell and Greg Goldin moderated by Karl Daubmann, Blu Homes’ vice president of design and creative director.
Shuttle service will be provided between 2:15-5:00pm from The Sportsman’s Club, 6225 Sunburst Avenue, Joshua Tree, CA 92252. Ticket price is $50 in advance, $60 at the door.
